Description
The HPE Aruba AP-367 is an entry-level 802.11ac Wave 2 (Wi-Fi 5) access point designed to deliver high performance wireless networking to mobile an IOT devices in a range of outdoor and warehouse environments. With a maximum aggregate data rate of 1,200 Mbps, multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO), 4 spatial streams, and optional 160MHz channel bandwidth (VHT160) the AP-365 can add additional performance and capacity to existing or new wireless networks. The AP also includes an integrated Bluetooth Low Energy radio to simply the deployment and management of location services, asset tracking, and security and IoT sensors.
The Aruba AP-367 is able to survive harsh outdoor environments and provide connectivity in warehouses and distribution centres. It is able to withstand high and low temperatures, wind speeds of up to 165mph and tolerate persistent moisture, precipitation, dust and salt sprays for an extended period of time. Additionally, all electrical interfaces include industrial strength surge protection.
The AP-367 includes Aruba ClientMatch technology to eliminate sticky client issues while optimising 802.11ac Wave 2 performance. This allows APs to gather session performance metrics to steer mobile devices to the best available AP. With MU-MIMO awareness, ClientMatch can group MU-MIMO capable devices together to increase network capacity and efficiency.
